Jack Fraser played amateur and professional hockey for a number of teams who were Stanley Cup challengers (Rat Portage, Smiths Falls and Ottawa Victorias). After a stint in the Ottawa region and Manitoba leagues as a hired gun, Fraser would make his way back to Ontario to play for the Renfrew Creamery Kings of the NHA.
